Do not under any circumstances buy a car from this company recently purchased a Peugeot 206 hdi from them, only to find when the log book was sent to the DVLA that it was a cat B write off and should have been crushed , no mention was made of this in the advert, or when I asked the sales assistant if it had been involved in an accident at the time of purchase. Despite numerous contacts they have been evasive and have come up with no credible solution .Even stating in one conversation that they had an “employee” who was willing to buy the care off me for £2000 when it had cost me £4625 only 6 weeks before, or I could quote” take them to court and be tied up for months” . And obviously by this time if they are true to form(i've researched this) they will have dissolved the company and started another. Any ideas "legally" what i can do next and please spread the word don't buy from these people check blaggers.com if you have any doubts.

Car finance not secure

Hi all, I was looking for finance for a TT last night and came accross a company called Oracle Finance www.oraclefinance.co.uk. I wondered if anyone has had any experience with them.

My main concern is while they look like the real deal when I was going through the online application I was being asked for things like bank account number and sort code. Is this standard practice as I've not seen it on other sites I've checked out, also I don't see any security on it, no padlock icon, doesn't that mean my details could be easily stolen?

Audi vs BMW vs Mercedes - Which is the best German marque?

OK let's settle this: which of the big German marques has the best line-up?

I like Audi styling and I love the RS6 Avant but they get docked points for not having a Formula 1 team (and their silly antics in the DTM last year).

I appreciate BMW's vehicle dynamics and think the things they are doing with efficiency are very impressive. But where's the supercar in their range?
Mercedes have some excellent cars in their line-up: C63 AMG, E Class, SLR McLaren - but I find the styling a bit drab on the whole.

Which car?

 Hi all,

I’m just after some advice really. In about a years time I turn 25 which basically means my insurance rate goes down. I’ve been saving up for a hatch for the last year and will continue to for the next year or so.

Now the problem is, I know absolutely nothing about cars. I’m interested in buying a Honda Civic Type R, Ford Focus ST or a Vauxhall Astra VXR. The main thing I’m looking for is a car with a split personality i.e. comfortable to drive, economical, but also has a dark side to it in terms of speed and power.

Any advice or alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

Kind regards
James

Does the Audi RS6 really need more power?

The RS6's twin-turbo V10 produces 580bhp, around 70 more than the M5.

I am having problems with my Ford StreetKa - when I break and change geat (say 3rd down to 2nd) the clutch feels like it is sticking.
I dont have this problem when I am changing up a gear though.

I was told to get the back brake drum cleaned, which I have, but it hasnt made any difference!

Can anyone maybe suggest what I should do now? I dont really want to go back to the dealer and fork out to have them check the car over if it is a minor thing that I can sort myself!!!
Thanks!!!
Stinking wet weather, loads of crashes, one poor marshal actually got hit by a car but I understand he's OK.
Storming drive by Mat Jackson in the BMW in the second race - started 18th and finished second, and he crossed the line side-by-side with the winner Colin Turkington, just 0.101s behind!

Shocking weekend for Seat though - Jason Plato had to start from the pits in the first race, got up to 12th, was 8th in the second race, then had a crash in the last race. Fabrizio Giovanardi's getting away from him in the championship now...
