Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Edition

Vauxhall has announced a new version of the Corsa VXR called the Arctic Edition.

Priced £16,995 (£995 more than the standard Corsa VXR) its features include:

* Glacier White paintwork
* Bespoke black 18-inch V-spoke alloy wheels with ultra-low profile 225/35 tires
* Remus Sports exhaust
* Electrically operated sliding glass sunroof
* Dark tinted rear windows and a black-painted roof and door mirrors
* Power is boosted by up to 15bhp to 207bhp

What do you think of the Corsa VXR Arctic Edition? Are there better cars available for the money?

I've never been a fan of the Corsa - I'd rather wait for the 135bhp Fiat 500 Abarth early next year - which costs just £13,500 and looks killer in black.

In my opinion a car shouldn't be judged by looks alone. The 500 is lighter, cheaper and I'm personally not a fan of white cars (the Abarth is available in black).

i love the vxr arctic edition. it doesnt get much better than this. my new car is on order and march 1st 09 cant come quick enough. i think its a gorge looking car....and as for a fiat......... I DONT THINK SO... you certainly get what you pay for, and at least only 500 made...... so wont see them everywhere... and hopefully too expensive for the boy racers.......
